Ali was born in 1967 in Ankara. He completed his secondary and high school education at Galatasaray High School and his higher education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine School of Medicine. In 1994, he completed his specialist education in 2000, which he started at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department. Between the years 2000-2008, he worked as a lecturer at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department and he was especially interested in Hand Surgery and Reconstructive Microsurgery fields.

In 2004-2005, she worked as a research fellow at the Plastic Surgery Research Center of the University of Pittsburgh in the United States for 1 year. In this period; osteogenic differentiation of adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells and bone tissue engineering, investigated the immunoregulatory effects of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in composite tissue allotransplantation, and immunostaining using stem cells. In 2010 Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery became a doctors. He is still working as a lecturer in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and as the Head of Science Department of Hand Surgery.
