Alfredo Raglio is a music therapist, teacher, supervisor, and researcher in the field of music therapy. Not only has he received an academic musical education (Degree in Piano, the Conservatory of Music of Darfo-Boario Terme, Brescia, Italy), but he has also received a post-graduate Diploma in Music Therapy from Bristol University (Bologna-based, Music Space Italy), the Bachelor (BA) of Arts in Piano and Music Therapy, the Master (MA) of Arts in Music Therapy (equivalency) by California University FCE. A.R. has then obtained a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Ferrara (Department of Biomedical and Specialistic Surgical Sciences, Section of Neurological Clinic). He is a Member of the Italian Professional Music Therapy Association and of the Editorial Board of "Non-Pharmacological Therapies in Dementia" (Nova Publishers, New York) and "Giornale Italiano di Medicina del Lavoro ed Ergonomia" journals. He is a member also of the European group of research INTERDEM (Psycho-Social Intervention in Dementia). A.R. coordinates the Master in Music Therapy at the Department of Public Health, Experimental and Forensic Medicine, University of Pavia (Italy).
