Alfonso Fiorelli MD, PhD, PD, FEBTS, FACS, FCCP

Alfonso Fiorelli MD, PhD, FCCP is a Full Professor and Director of the Thoracic Surgery Unit at the University “Of Luigi Vanvitelli”, Department of Science and Translational Medicine, Naples, Italy. His main research interests include basic research on lung cancer, interventional bronchoscopy, and minimally invasive surgery. Alfonso Fiorelli was born on 5Th October 1974. He graduated with honors in Naples from the Second University of Naples Medical School in 1998. He obtained with honor the certificate in Thoracic Surgery in 2003. In 2006, he obtained his PhD in Respiratory Physiology and Pharmacology from Second University of Naples. In 2009, he obtained his fellowship at the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP).
