Dr. Alexis Olsson received his undergraduate education at Carroll University. He completed his dental education at Northwestern University, and postgraduate residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Anne and Robert H. Lurie Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Olsson is currently Chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Anne and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital, and is Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Dr. Olsson is Director of Resident Training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He also lectures nationally and internationally, and serves on the Editorial Board of the “ International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery”. Dr. Olsson serves on the Board of the International Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and is currently Vice President- Elect. Dr. Olsson has been elected to and serves as Examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Certifying Body for the Specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the United States.
