Dr. Alexandra Milspaw has been practicing counseling and providing educational seminars and training for over 10 years. She is available for professional consultations and training, specifically around chronic pain, trauma, pelvic, sexual, and genital pain disorders. Milspaw serves on the faculty of the Clinical Foundations Training Course for the International Pelvic Pain Society (www.pelvicpain.org) and is Associate Chair of the Clinical Foundations Course for the 2019 conference in Toronto, Canada.

Dr. Milspaw is an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania. She earned her Masters of Education in Counseling Psychology and Human Services from Lehigh University and earned her Ph.D. in the clinical practice of Human Sexuality from Widener University. Milspaw is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Certified Master NLP Practitioner, Certified Consulting Hypnotist, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Trainer and Consultant. She specializes in relaxation and stress management as well as chronic pain and trauma.

Dr. Milspaw is a professional presenter for sexuality and reproductive health education for local colleges, community agencies, and national conferences. Alex is a co-founder of the Alliance for Pelvic Pain (www.allianceforpelvicpain.com) and co-facilitates the Pelvic Messenger blog talk radio. Dr. Milspaw is also a sex therapist within the 4-D Wheel Network (www.expandingsextherapy.org). Dr. Milspaw was the Executive Director of the Institute for Women In Pain from 2011-2013.
