Alexandra's group uses analytical and 3-D electron microscopy techniques to elucidate of how bio or nanomaterials interact with cells and tissues. This analysis is used to inform on toxicology, cellular uptake and targeting of engineered nanoparticles for applications in nanomedicine and bone regeneration.
