Alexandra Moutet MD

Dr Alexandra Moutet joined UCB in January 2017 as Global Head of Patient Affairs, based in Brussels, providing global leadership in patient engagement all across the medicine lifecycle continuum; including thorough proactive, thought-leading contributions to patient-focused external coalitions and initiatives.

Dr Moutet was director of Patient Engagement and Care for Western Europe and Canada. She developed, led and guided patient-focused strategies and programs aimed at improving the patient experience, enhancing patient access to health care and promoting integrated care models.

Dr Moutet previously held roles within French consultancies through which she led strategic support in health and social security reforms for different governments at the international level and designed development plans for French health industry and public health organizations. She was also Counselor for Social Affairs at the French Embassy in Russia. Earlier in her career, Dr Moutet created and led a medical center in Kiev, which was dedicated to the follow-up of people evacuated from areas contaminated by the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster. This facility was among the first medical centers in the former Soviet Union to diagnose and cure children of thyroid cancer.
