Alexandra Langendorfer

Alex, a former Merck Pharmaceutical Executive, led teams in both Clinical Research as well as Marketing (US and globally across 80 countries). She launched blockbuster products, won Merck marketing awards for outmaneuvering the competition and was a multiple winner of Merck’s marketer of the year award. More recently, Alex ran Merck’s US hospital business and Global antibiotic business where she had P/L responsibility for complex product portfolios. She also has experience with Rx and OTC brands and products with alternative delivery systems. Alex began her Merck career in Research, planning, conducting and summarizing mega-trials with multi-million dollar budgets. Earlier, she worked for a Nobel laureate at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Alex holds both a B.A. and an M.S. from the University of Pennsylvania.
