Alexandra Croom MBBS, MRCP, MSc

Alex Croom is a Midlands-based Allergy expert in the diagnosis and management of allergic diseases. She has many years of experience working as a consultant in a busy NHS service and consulting on all aspects of allergic disease. Alex specialises in the diagnosis and management of food allergy, food intolerance, anaphylaxis, urticaria (hives), angioedema (swelling), bee and wasp venom allergy, seasonal allergic rhinitis (hayfever), latex allergy and mast cell activation syndromes.

​She is committed to providing holistic care in a collaborative relationship between specialist and patient believing that successful symptom control and long-term management of allergic conditions are best achieved through patient education and involvement with decision-making. Dr Croom currently sees patients at the Spire Hospital, Leicester.
