Alexander Norbash joined Boston Medical Center in 2004 as Chairman and Professor of Radiology. He is an interventional neuroradiologist with an active endovascular neurosurgical practice, having performed more than 6000 endovascular neuroradiology procedures, including more than 400 aneurysms, and more than 300 stents. He is among the first clinician-interventionalists to develop and describe the technology of stenting for the carotid and intracranial arteries.
Other clinical interests include endovascular aneurysm therapy, endovascular treatment of arteriovenous malformations, and percutaneous vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty.
