Alexander Nast MD

Alexander Nast trained as a Dermatologist and Venereologist at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and St John’s Institute of Dermatology at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK. Under the supervision of Prof. Berthold Rzany, he also trained in evidence-based medicine at the dEBM in Berlin, where he was appointed head of the division in 2012. In addition to his work on systematic reviews and guideline development, his clinical research interests include the treatment of psoriasis, acne, and atrophic/hypertrophic scars and keloids, as well as scarless healing. Alexander is a senior consultant and lecturer in dermatology at the Charité.
