Alexander D. Miguel PharmD

Alexander Miguel graduated with his PharmD from the University of Florida in 2012. He completed the MTM/Geriatrics residency at the University of Florida’s MTM Communication and Care Center (MTMCCC) and is currently a clinical pharmacist at the MTMCCC. Alex was part of the team that moved from Gainesville to start up the Orlando (Lake Nona) branch of the MTMCCC.

He has led various patient communication projects for the center: the development of call scripts targeted at improving member participation in comprehensive medication reviews and the development of motivational interviewing training for the MTMCCC staff. Alex is currently the pharmacist overseeing the center’s adherence intervention services. His responsibilities include training students and staff, providing clinical interventions for members contacted through the adherence intervention program, and developing adherence services for the MTMCCC.
