Alexander Kempny MD, PhD

Professor Alexander Kempny trained in cardiology and internal medicine at the University of Muenster, Germany, and at Royal Brompton Hospital.

He completed his Ph.D. in Cardiology at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London.

Prior to his role at Royal Brompton Hospital, he was a consultant cardiologist at the Barts Heart Centre between 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2017, he was visiting consultant cardiologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital, the main teaching hospital for Oxford University.
