Alexander I. Sankin, MD, Assistant Professor of Urology, is a board-certified urologist specializing in the treatment of urological malignancies, including prostate, testicular, renal and bladder carcinoma. Dr. Sankin is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he earned both BS and MA degrees. He obtained his medical degree from NYU and completed his residency in Surgery and Urology at SUNY Downstate. Dr. Sankin is also a graduate of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Fellowship in Urologic Oncology. He is currently a member of the American Urological Association and American Medical Association. Dr. Sankin’s current research program focuses on the translational application of immune-oncology to the treatment of urologic cancer.
