Alexander Cryer is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Harvard Medical School, Brigham, and Women's Hospital, and a Research Associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. My research focuses broadly on using biomaterials and nanotechnology to engineer the immune system to treat disease. I was previously a Ph.D. student at the National Heart and Lung Institute and the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London. Alexander is the recipient of a prestigious Imperial College Medical Research Council Doctoral Training Partnership (MRC DTP) Research Studentship whose research focuses on the development of novel nanomedicines for the treatment of lung cancer but is broadly applicable to a range of diseases.
