Alexander Blankstein MD

Alexander Blankstein, MD an orthopedic surgeon and professor, Dr. Alexander Blankstein is considered a world-class specialist in using ultrasound for diagnostic orthopedics and has published over 85 articles in medical journals. He is a professor at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University and a practicing senior orthopedic surgeon. After graduating from the Sackler School of Medicine, Dr. Blankstein honed his surgical skills at top hospitals worldwide. He completed his orthopedic residency at Israel’s Sheba Medical Center and continued his training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, the Henry Ford Medical Center in Detroit, MI, and the Cantonal Hospital Basel-Land (KSBL) in Basel, Switzerland. Dr. Blankstein serves as a professional consultant for several of Israel’s HMOs and is on the editorial board of the World Journal of Orthopedics, a leading publication in the field.
