Alex Waldron

Alex is currently the vice president of global commercial operations of EPIRUS Biopharmaceuticals and has more than 24 years of pharmaceutical and biotech experience. In his role at EPIRUS, Alex successfully led the commercial team through the launch of the company’s most advanced program, BOW015 (infliximab, reference biologic Remicade®), in its first market, India, in late 2014. He was formerly the head of commercial, emerging markets at Biogen Idec where he developed the strategic and operational plans for geographic expansion and product launches. While at Biogen Idec, he held multiple global commercial roles including lifecycle and portfolio planning, global brand management, early stage MS portfolio and in-line marketing. In addition, Alex previously served in commercial leadership roles at Genzyme, AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
