Alessandro Picelli MD, PhD

In 2004 he graduated from the University of Padua Medical School in Padua, Italy. In 2008 he received his certification in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine from the University of Verona, Italy. In 2014 he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Experimental Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Applied to Human Locomotor System from the “Sapienza” University of Rome, Italy. He is the author of over 250 scientific publications in national and international journals, proceedings,s and books in the field of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine.

He is a board member of the Italian Society of Neurological Rehabilitation and coordinator of its stroke rehabilitation section. He is an editorial board member of Frontiers in Neurology (Associate Editor), Restorative Neurology and Neuroscience (Associate Editor), and the European Journal of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (Scientific Secretary). He has peer-reviewed over 40 journals in the field of rehabilitation medicine and neurology.
