Alejandro Luque Suarez is an Associate professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of Malaga. He has a Diploma in Physiotherapy, a Degree in Anthropology, and a Ph.D. in Health Sciences. He is an expert in chronic pain and its multifactorial approach. He has been a postdoctoral researcher at different Australian universities (University of Sydney and Macquarie University) and has an outstanding research career in the world of pain, with more than 60 scientific publications, many of them with high impact in this field (Journal of Pain, Clinical Journal of Pain, British Journal of Sports Medicine). With a very prominent position worldwide in the ranking of researchers in this field. More than fifty postgraduate courses were taught and numerous lectures at international congresses. He is interested not only in research but also in transferring all the knowledge generated to the population through social impact projects, as well as generating innovation and adding value to companies in the sector.
