Alejandra Ugarte-torres MD, MPH, FRCPC

Dr. Alejandra Ugarte-Torres, MD, MPH, FRCPC is a clinical lecturer at the University of Calgary and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She completed Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases training at Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Medicas y Nutricion “Salvador Zubiran”, UNAM (1999-2005), and at the University of Calgary (2012-2017). She has a Master’s in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her areas of interest include sexually transmitted infections, social justice, and equity.
