Dr. Alberto Rancati MD, Ph.D., graduated in 1984 from medical school at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, he is Board Certified in General Surgery, Mastology, and Plastic Surgery. completed his residency in general surgery and plastic surgery at the University of Buenos Aires. He has more than 30 years in the practice of the profession and is also Head of the Oncoplastic Surgery area of the Henry Moore Cancer Institute, Bs. As. Argentina is an internationally recognized institute in the field of oncology. As a world-renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Rancati is noted for pioneering multiple surgical procedures.
He is internationally recognized as an authority on cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery and is frequently invited to present his research and techniques at conferences around the world.
Dr. Rancati regularly gives talks and presentations at conferences organized by major cosmetic and plastic surgery societies in North America and Europe and has traveled around the world to train other plastic surgeons. He actively participates in teaching plastic surgery to medical residents and is president of the Annual Meeting "B Buenos Aires Breast Meeting ", which each year attracts the most prestigious surgeons in Argentina.
As a dedicated scholar and researcher, Dr. Rancati has authored more than 30 articles and papers on plastic surgery, including articles in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Aesthetic Surgery Journal.
