Alberto Leo MD

Dr. Alberto Di Leo graduated from the University of Verona in 1997. In 2003 he obtained the Specialization in General Surgery II with a specialization in Emergency Surgery at the University of Verona in the I Clinical Division of General Surgery of the Maggiore Civil Hospital of Verona.

From January 2004 to May 27, 2005, he served as Surgery Assistant, at the General Surgery Operating Unit of the "Madonna della Salute" Srl Nursing Home in Porto Viro, ULSS No. 19 Hospital in Adria (RO) . From May 2005 to February 2006, he served as Medical Director at the General Surgery Unit of the Provincial Company for Health Services (APSS) of the Autonomous Province of Trento, in the Arco Hospital. From April 2006 to May 2012 he served as Medical Director at the same Surgery Operating Unit.

From June 2012 to September 2016, he served as Medical Director with a managerial position of High Professionalism in "Oncological surgery of the gastrointestinal tract" at the General Surgery Operating Unit of the APSS of Trento, Central-Southern Health District, in the S Maria del Carmine of Rovereto. From October 2016 to May 2018, he served as Medical Director with the Functional Professional Appointment "Laparoscopic Surgery of the upper gastrointestinal tract", at the Complex Operating Unit of General Surgery and of the Esophagus and Stomach of the Integrated University Hospital of Verona, in the Borgo Trento hospital. Since June 2018 he has been Director of the Complex Operating Unit at the San Camillo Hospital in Trento.
