Alberto Caggiati MD, PhD

Prof. Alberto Caggiati is a specialist in Vascular Surgery. He mainly deals with vascular diseases, with particular attention to diabetic pathology, vascular rehabilitation, non-invasive vascular diagnostics, surgical phlebology, and traditional arterial surgery. He Specialized in 1986 in Vascular Surgery at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", he obtained a Ph.D. in 1988, discussing the experimental thesis on "The biochemical prenatal diagnosis of cystic fibrosis" Currently, he carries out his professional activity at the Private Nursing Homes Villa Mafalda and Villa Margherita in the city of Rome. Phlebitis, thrombosis, varicose veins, aneurysms, and peripheral arteriopathies are the diseases he deals with most.
