Albert L. Waldo MD, PhD, FHRS, CCDS

Albert L. Waldo is a Professor of Cardiology at the UH Cleveland Medical Center Emergency and a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Case Western Reserve University. He is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. he completed his Doctor of Medicine at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine. He has received numerous awards, including the Distinguished Scientist Awards from NASPE (now called HRS), and the American College of Cardiology. His extensive public service has included serving on NIH NHLBI study sections, and FDA advisory committees; President and Trustee of NASPE, and on the editorial board of numerous Journals in the field.
