Albert Craig Lockhart MD, MHS

Dr. Lockhart has over 15 years of clinical trial experience, with an emphasis on early phase clinical trials and trials in GI cancers. He has been the principal investigator for over 90 Phase I/II and III trials. Dr. Lockhart is internationally recognized as a clinical research leader in the field of upper GI cancers.

For almost 15 years, Dr. Lockhart’s research has focused on esophagogastric cancers. He aims to incorporate molecular/genetic based treatment into clinical trials in the pursuit of personalized cancer care. His track record in this research area includes being principal investigator on several clinical trials for patients with these cancers, the receipt of several peer-reviewed grants from the NIH and other funding agencies.
