Alan V. Smrcka

Dr. Smrcka received a B.S. in Biology from the University of Connecticut, an M.Sc. in Botany at Arizona State University, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Arizona. He did a postdoc in the Pharmacology Department of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center with Dr. Paul Sternweis before joining the Pharmacology faculty at the University of Rochester in 1994.
