Dr. Rozanski is Chief of the Division of Cardiology, Director of the Cardiology Fellowship Training Program, and Director of Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac Stress Testing. Dr. Rozanski obtained his Internal Medicine and Cardiology training at Mt Sinai Hospital, NYC, and then his Nuclear Medicine training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, LA. Dr. Rozanski founded and supervised the Preventative and Cardiac Rehabilitation program at Cedars Sinai before joining the Cardiology faculty at St Lukes Roosevelt Hospital in 1990.

Dr. Rozanski's academic and research interests include assessment of outcomes following nuclear cardiology, development of optimal algorithms for risk assessment, correlative nuclear and CT imaging, and assessment of the clinical uses of coronary artery calcium scanning. In addition, Dr. Rozanski has strong interests in Preventive Cardiology and is considered an international expert in the nascent field of Behavioral Cardiology. Dr. Rozanski is the former recipient of a two-year sabbatical fellowship from the MacArthur Foundation, to study the determinants of health-promoting and health-damaging behavior.
