Alan Diamond PhD

Dr. Alan M. Diamond, PhD, is a Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Diamond obtained his Ph.D. in biochemistry from the State University of New York at Stony Brook where he characterized the central component of the cellular machinery that generates selenium-containing proteins. His research interests include Biochemistry, Antioxidants, Lipid Peroxidation, Antioxidant Activity, Reactive Oxygen Species, Free Radicals, Oxidative Stress Biomarkers, Free Radical Scavengers, DNA Damage, Oxidative Stress, and Nutraceuticals.
