Alain Doucet MBA

Alain offers over 25 years of senior management, marketing, business development, and relationship-building experience that includes corporate, institutional, and agency positions. As a leader and senior manager of projects, people and relationships, he excels at crafting narratives, building high connectivity relationships, and a big picture solutions mindset.

Before joining the Canadian College of Health Leaders, he was Assistant Dean External Relations for the Telfer School of Management. Prior to joining the University of Ottawa, he was VP of Marketing & Communications for Orbit IQ. Previously, he was General Manager of Banfield Seguin, one of Ottawa’s leading marketing communications agencies. Prior to joining Banfield Seguin, he was Vice President Marketing and Chief of staff at ADVENTIS, a Boston-based global consultancy to the telecom, technology, and information industries.

Prior to joining ADVENTIS, he was a founding partner of Actus Marketing, a marketing agency and consultancy providing outsourced services to technology, public and corporate clients in Canada. He has also held various product and marketing management positions in the financial services, business services, and consumer goods sectors. He earned a BCom (Hons) in Business Administration from the University of Ottawa (1983) and an MBA (with Distinction) from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University (1987).
