Alagan Muthurasu obtained his BSc and MSc degrees in general chemistry from The American College – Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. He then received his Ph.D degree in 2017 from the Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CSIR-CECRI) in Karaikudi, India. Currently, he is working as a Postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Organic Materials and Fiber Engineering, Jeonbuk National University, South Korea. His research focuses on synthesizing and designing durable non-precious metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) derived hybrid materials and graphene quantum dots for biosensors, electrocatalytic water splitting, metal-air batteries, sensors, and supercapacitors.
