Alaa Abd-elsayed MD, MBA, MPH, CPE, FASA, FASIPP

Dr. Alaa Abd-Elsayed is the Medical Director of the Pain Service at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI, USA, and serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology. He also holds the position of Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London.

Dr. Abd-Elsayed has published more than 250 peer-reviewed manuscripts, more than 200 book chapters, and edited more than 30 books. He serves on the editorial board of several high-impact journals in the field of pain management, and he is the editor-in-chief of Pain Medicine Case Reports. He currently serves as a director at large at NANS and on the leadership of other societies, such as ASIPP and ASPN.
