Akiko Kamimura PhD, MSW, MA

Akiko Kamimura is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Utah. She received her PhD in Health Services Organization and Policy from the University of Michigan. Her primary areas of interest include Social determinants of health, health disparities, minority and immigrant health, intimate partner violence, health promotion, health education, community-based research, survey research methods, health management and policy, and global health.
