Akhileswaran is the CEO and Medical Director of HCA Hospice Care. He is a trained Radiation Oncologist and a specialist in Palliative Medicine. He has done fellowships in oncology in the US, UK and France.
Akhileswaran has presented papers and posters in conferences worldwide and has also published his work in medical journals. He is actively involved in training doctors, nurses, medical students, nursing students and volunteers. He is also the current Chairman of Singapore Hospice Council, the umbrella body for all hospice and palliative care services in Singapore.
