Dr. Ajit Desai is a seasoned Interventional Cardiologist from Mumbai with a clinical practice at Jaslok Hospital and his private clinic at Santacruz. Dr. Desai‘s association with the medical field since 1984 has been a long-standing one with years of practical experience in the field of Cardiology.
Dr. Desai fulfilled MBBS, MD (Internal Medicine), DM (Cardiology) and DNB (Cardiology) qualifications through T N Medical College & BYL Nair Ch. Hospital (Mumbai), thereby completing his entire medical education through the prominent institute. He has worked with hospitals such as K B Bhabha Municipal Hospital, Sir. H.N. Reliance Hospital and Raheja Hospital in the past.
In his extensive career, Dr. Desai has performed a large number of Cardiac Catheterizations (in infants and children, in adults), Coronary Angiography, Coronary Angioplasty, 2 – Dimensional Echocardiography, Stress Testing, Vector Cardiography, Apexcardiography, Pacing , Electrocardiography , IABP and Percutaneous Cardiopulmonary Support procedures. Dr. Desai has participated in several national and global conferences as a delegate and faculty. He stays abreast of latest medical developments through workshops and CME programs.
