Ajay Rane MBBS, MSc, MD, FRCS, FRCOG, FRANZCOG, CU, FICOG, PhD

Professor Ajay Rane is a Professor and Head of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Consultant Urogynecologist at James Cook University. He is the Director of Urogynecology at The Townsville Hospital. He was born in England and after finishing his early schooling went to India and completed his MBBS degree from the University of Poona and also his training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, which attained him his MD in Obstetrics, and Gynecologic from the University of Poona. He then went to England and completed his master's in Urogynecology at Liverpool University. He then passed his MRCOG from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology in London and also his FRCS after training posts in Urology and General Surgery to improve his surgical skills.
