Ajay Choudhri MD

Dr. Ajay Choudhri is the director of Vascular and Interventional Radiology and assistant director of Radiology at Capital Health. He is a founding member of the private radiology group Capital Health Advanced Imaging, PC and has been instrumental in the growth of the group since its inception in 2003.

Dr. Choudhri maintains board certifications in diagnostic radiology and endovascular medicine. He is fellowship-trained in vascular and interventional radiology. His clinical expertise is in advanced imaging and treatment of vascular disease.

Dr. Choudhri completed his bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University and earned his medical degree from UMDNJ - New Jersey Medical School. He completed his radiology residency at Montefiore Hospital-Albert Einstein New York and finished his VIR fellowship at the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute. He maintains an active interest in health care policy, economics, bioinformatics, and entrepreneurship. He currently serves as a member of the Capital Health Board of Directors, as well as various committees at Capital Health, including Professional Practice Committee, Neuroscience Steering Committee, Heart and Vascular Steering Committee and currently chairs the Heart and Vascular Case Conference. He is a mentor at a digital-health start-up incubator, Tigerlabs in Princeton, NJ. He is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, Society of Interventional Radiology, and the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs.
