Aisling Jennings MD, PhD

Aisling completed her undergraduate degree in Medicine in UCC in 2009, graduating in first place overall. She completed her postgraduate training in General Practice in the Cork GP Training Scheme. Aisling is currently working as a sessional GP in a practice in Co. Cork. Aisling is in her tfinal year of her PhD in UCC. She is part of the PREPARED research project. PREPARED (PRimary care Education, Pathways And Research in Dementia) is one of the workstreams of the Irish National Dementia Strategy and is tasked with developing, delivering and evaluating dementia training and education interventions to GPs and primary care clinicians. Her teaching commitments include being module co-ordinator for the postgraduate GP module 'Dementia in General Practice' and lecturing undergratuate medical students. She is also engaged in supervision of medical students final year research projects.
