Ainslie Hatch PhD

Ainslie Hatch, Ph.D., is Director, Clinical Sciences, Digital Medicine at Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. In this role, she provides clinical and scientific expertise related to the development and commercialization of existing Otsuka digital products as well as those in development. Earlier at Otsuka, Dr. Hatch worked as a Director, CNS Medical Affairs where she helped develop the medical plan and strategies for development of a digital medicine drug/device product, which became the first digital medicine to receive FDA approval (Abilify MyCite(aripiprazole with sensor)). Previously, Dr. Hatch served as a CNS Medical Science Liaison (MSL) at both Otsuka and Bristol Myers Squibb.

As an MSL, she provided scientific and medical information about products and disease state to healthcare thought leaders in neuroscience and psychiatry. Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Hatch trained as a clinical psychologist and practiced cognitive-behavior therapy and other evidence-based psychotherapies in a variety of disease states. Dr. Hatch is the author of numerous papers published in scientific peer-reviewed journals. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in psychology and was awarded the University Medal (summa cum laude) before completing her Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (D.Clin.Psych), followed by an additional graduate program to receive Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in cognitive neuroscience from the University of Sydney.
