Aileen Ahiskali PharmD

Aileen Ahiskali is the Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis. In 2014, she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY. She subsequently moved to Minneapolis where she completed a post-graduate year one pharmacy practice residency and post-graduate year two infectious diseases pharmacy residency at Abbott Northwestern Hospital.
In her current position, Aileen is the co-chair of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and she develops and implements stewardship initiatives, monitors antibiotic use, and precepts resident ID rotations. She also remains actively engaged with the inpatient ID consult service with whom she rounds with daily, enabling her to teach medical residents and students principles of antimicrobial use and promote appropriate antimicrobial use.
