Ahsan R. Akram MBChB, MRCP, PhD

Dr. Ahsan R. Akram is a Cancer Research UK Clinician Scientist Fellow and Honorary Consultant in Respiratory Medicine. He undertook a Ph.D. in Pulmonary Optical Imaging (2012-2015) and now is planning to apply some of these modalities Lung Cancer for treatment stratification. His research interests are Characterising and imaging the tumor microenvironment, and developing translational imaging tools for human in vivo imaging.
