Ahsan Naseem MD

Dr. Ahsan Naseem, a dual board-certified psychiatrist in both Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry, serves as the Medical Director of Heartland Psychiatry at Bryan Health Network and is a partner at Cheney Psychiatric Associates. Dr. Naseem served as an Associate Chief of Staff at the Nebraska-Western Iowa VA Healthcare System for six years and was one of the architects of the Transition Clinic design for returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. He was also instrumental in the implementation of Telehealth services at the VA which was adopted as a national model. He also served as a consultant to the NHS in the UK for systems redesign, authored articles in clinical journals, and was a contributing author to textbook chapters on PTSD while presenting at national conferences for the past several years.
