Dr. Soliman is a Professor of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia. He completed his medical education at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine after which he entered residency training in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital which was followed by a fellowship in Laryngology & Voice Disorders at the same institution. He joined the faculty at Temple University in 1997 and is currently Vice-Chair for the department, Director of the Voice, Airway & Swallowing Center, and Associate Director for the Temple Head & Neck Institute. His clinical practice focuses on Laryngology with an emphasis on airway disorders. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, The American Bronchoesophagological Association, The Triological Society, and the American Laryngological Association.

Dr. Soliman has lectured and chaired numerous courses locally, nationally, and internationally. He is the recipient of numerous awards including “America’s Top Physicians”, “America’s Most Compassionate Physicians”, and has been elected to the prestigious “Castle Connolly-Top Doctor Philadelphia Magazine” from 2011-present. Dr. Soliman has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. He serves on the editorial board of the Annals of Otology, Rhinology, & Laryngology, The Journal of Voice, and International Journal of Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. In addition, he serves as a reviewer for nearly every major publication in the field. He has served as President of the Philadelphia Laryngological Society and the Pennsylvania Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.
