Ahmed M. Afifi MD

Dr. Afifi trained at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, the University of New Mexico, Albequerque, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania and Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt. Following his general and plastic surgery residency, he completed three subspecialty fellowships in aesthetic and breast surgery, hand and microsurgery and craniofacial surgery. He also completed a clinical research fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic and was an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at Cairo University.

His practice at UW Health covers cosmetic surgery and breast reconstruction. He also sees patients at Transformations, our state-of-the-art facility on the far west side of Madison, where his practice is devoted to cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body. Dr. Afifi also receives many referrals for nerve decompression surgeries in the craniofacial region for patients with headaches and migraines.
