Dr. Ahmed Abdullah, Professor of Pediatrics, Gastroenterology and Liver, Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, said that the percentage of children infected with C virus in Egypt is about 2.2%, which is lower than adults, noting that the rate of treatment of C virus in children using interferon did not exceed 50%, the rate of global healing time using interferon and ribavirin, stressing the need of Egyptian children infected with severe C virus of modern medicines taken by mouth and we are waiting for because the whole world turned to new treatment in Children.
