Ahmad Nassr is currently a Consultant in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Neurosurgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He is the spine surgery fellowship director for Mayo Clinic. His specialty is complex spinal surgery with a focus on treatment of cervical, thoracic and lumbar degenerative and traumatic conditions of the spine. He completed his undergraduate training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Mechanical Engineering. He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and Orthopedic Surgery residency training at Rush University Medical Center. He then completed his spinal fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.
