Ahmad B. Maarouf MD

Dr. Ahmad Maarouf completed his medical training at Damascus University in Syria. After emigrating to the United States, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Western Reserve Care System in Ohio and subsequently completed a Nephrology fellowship here at UPMC. Ahmad then spent a year at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit as a clinical nephrologist before returning to Pittsburgh in 2010 to start his Critical Care fellowship and join our Pitt CCM family. Dr. Maarouf is now a successful Critical Care Nephrologist practicing in the Oakwood Healthcare System in Dearborn, Michigan, where he lives with his wife and children.
