Agnita Pal

Agnita Pal is the Manager of Clinical Administrative Databases Operations at CIHI. In this role, she is responsible for operational management of Discharge Abstract Database (DAD), Hospital Morbidity Database (HMDB), and National Ambulatory Care Reporting System (NACRS) databases. This includes definition of reporting standards, data quality, and release of data, manuals and other materials supporting the collection and use of this data. As part of her role, she is also responsible for co-leadership of the Western ALC Standards Project being led by CIHI in collaboration with the Western Patient Flow Collaborative.

Agnita has over 15 years of experience in healthcare, implementing process and system solutions in Ontario hospitals and has held leadership roles in information management and policy development areas of the Ontario ministry. Agnita has a Masters of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto.
