Ms Agnes CHEUNG received her nursing education at The School of General Nursing, Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), Hong Kong. Subsequently, she also completed her training in Nephrology nursing in Hospital Authority. She obtained her Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) in 1995 & attained her Master of Science (Nursing Studies) in Hong Kong. She worked as a renal nurse in QEH since1995 & she is now the Nurse Consultant in Renal Care of QEH. Agnes now is Member of Home Haemodialysis (HD) Working Group of Hong Kong Hospital Authority & also Council member of the Hong Kong Association of Renal Nurses (HKARN). In 2006, Nocturnal Home Haemodialysis (NHHD) service was introduced to Hong Kong. Agnes receiving her training in Canada in 2007 & took up all the challenges in setting up this new treatment program for patients at QEH in the same year. Now QEH has trained more than 100 patients & the service has proven to be successful with the highest number of patients amongst all clusters.
