Agabiti Rosei Enrico

Professor E. Agabiti-Rosei has been full Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Brescia (Italy) since 1990. He is the former Director of the Clinica Medica at the University of Brescia and Chairman (2003 2017) of the Department of Internal Medicine, Azienda Spedali Civili, University Hospital, Brescia. He was Chairman (2010-1016) of the Department of Clinical and Experimental Sciences at the University of Brescia. He is graduated in medicine and surgery at the University of Perugia and specialized in Cardiology and Internal Medicine at the University of Pisa.

He has spent few years in prestigious international research centers as visiting Research Fellow or visiting Professor with the support of institutional grants (CNR, Italy – MRC, Great Britain), in Glasgow, GB, BP Unit (1975-1977), in Basel, Switzerland, Kantonspital (1978), in Cleveland, Ohio, US, Cleveland Clinic (1982). He has lectured internationally on topics related to hypertension and cardiovascular diseases and has also been responsible of organizing official workshops and symposia of the European Society of Hypertension, and of the European Society of Cardiology. He is the author of about 900 scientific publications in peer reviewed journals (more than 28.000 citations, google scholar 10.11.2017).
