Adrienne Deberry PharmD, BCACP, CSP

Dr. DeBerry is an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist who is passionate about patient education. She earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy and went on to complete two post-graduate residency programs at a large academic, level I trauma center.

With over 11 years of pharmacy experience, she has specialized in a number of areas, including pain management, neurology, transitions of care, and specialty pharmacy services. Throughout her career as a clinic-based pharmacist, she has seen the health of patients suffer due to feeling overwhelmed, being confused or given incomplete information, or just giving up on taking charge of their health — “because it's just “too much”.  She has given national and state-level conference presentations and enjoys using creativity to make complex topics simple to understand.

Her role as a pharmacist has been atypical – working shoulder to shoulder with physicians and nurses in outpatient clinics to provide pharmacotherapy consultations, and recommendations for “the right drug, for the right patient”. She also creates education and training programs for healthcare professionals on medications and how to efficiently navigate the complex landscape of prescribing specialty medications.
